Day 1: Arrival in Kolkata
Upon arrival at Howrah Railway Station or the Airport, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel in Kolkata. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2: Kolkata Sightseeing
Start your day with a hearty breakfast before embarking on a city tour of Kolkata. Visit the Dakshineswar Kali Temple, Belur Math, Howrah Bridge, Vidyasagar Setu, the National Museum, and Victoria Memorial. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Gangasagar Excursion (110 km / 4 hrs)
After an early breakfast, depart for a full-day excursion to Gangasagar. This island, at the confluence of the River Ganga and the Bay of Bengal, is renowned for the Kapil Muni Ashram, a site of great religious significance. In the evening, return to Kolkata for an overnight stay at your hotel.
Note: We provide an AC vehicle for the journey from Kolkata to Ferry Ghat (Lot No. 8 / Harwood Point, 90 km round trip). Upon reaching Lot No. 8, take a ferry to cross the Muriganga River to Kachuberia. From there, a private car will take you to Sagar Island. The ferry cost and local vehicle cost from Kachuberia to Sagar Island and back will be arranged by us.
Day 4: Departure from Kolkata
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and proceed to Kolkata Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.
